This is the project of two blocks of social apartments for both young and older people. The blocks are located on a large plot enclosing an interior space that is allocated to recreation for residents, including small gardens and allotments.

Windmill has developed the partial project for metalic structure for the external areas of the blocks, galleries and terraces, and the corresponding part of the foundations. These parts of the project are covered with a semiprefabricated system of pre-slabs, defining, in some sectors, overhangs of some significance.

Regarding the structural design, calculation and control of the dynamic effects was of significant interest - as the Perpignan area can suffer from quite intense earthquakes - a partially prefabricated lattice and therefore less monolithic than in another conventional cases.
