This is an office building that is part of an architectural ensemble in the Plaza Europa in Barcelona. The building consists of a basement and 5 floors above ground, with a total built area of approximately 6,650 m2.

Windmill´s mission has been to draft the structural project for the completion of the unfinished building and its connection to the existing "bridge", with the new part resting on a section of tunnel of line 9 of the Barcelona metro. The over ground floors of the new building are constituted by sheet metal collaborating on a metallic structure, while the basement ceiling is solved with a solid slab on reinforced concrete pillars.

The main challenge has been to cover the diaphanous space of offices with spans of up to 12m and limited edges, together with the need for quick assembly and the ease of the construction process of the structural elements to be executed in situ.
